💧 YEARS OF LEAKING… HIDDEN UNDERGROUND 💧
We were called out to turn on this customer’s irrigation—and immediately noticed something wasn’t right. The stand pipe was completely full of water, and a closer look revealed the main shut-off had a slow external leak that had likely been leaking for years. How can we tell? The solid mass of roots growing around the pipe said it all. 🌱
This customer is on a well system, and because of the slow, constant leak, the well pump would kick on at all hours of the night—loud enough to be heard inside the house. But with no visible leak, it remained a mystery until we arrived.
After a week of monitoring and confirming the leak’s source, we knew it was time to replace the shut-off and stop the water waste for good. 🛠️
If you’re noticing random pump activity, low pressure, or unexplained wet spots—don’t wait. A small, hidden leak can lead to long-term damage and unnecessary water use.
