This is the hardest decision I've ever had to make. It's like giving up on one of your own children.
After much thought about it all, after 14 years as a business working on cars, classics and all, I have decided to retire. Physical conditions have changed my path in life. I can only spend about 20-30 minutes at a time working on cars at this point, which makes it difficult to keep up with all of the work. I apologize publicly to those who have had to wait on me. I only wish the best to everyone involved.
I had a stroke earlier in the year, along with worsening back issues. Between the two, I've been losing the ability to keep the drive I once had.
With that said, we will be selling pretty much EVERYTHING in the building. Lifts, and tools are last to go, and some may already be spoken for. There is many other items, though. Tires, rims, car parts, frames, exhaust parts, brake parts, axles, hubcaps, beauty rings, random chrome tidbits, spotlights, vintage trinkets and display items, a 1953 Seeburg Jukebox in perfect working order, glass display cases, vintage bicycles (mostly Schwinn), bicycle parts, beer mirrors, Crosswalk Signs, café table, appliances, vintage automobile manuals, a vintage 1958 Corvette go cart body, and more. Stop by during business hours of 8am-4pm weekdays to check it out. Prices are not set. Make offers, however, items are for sale, not on sale. No trades, I have nowhere to keep all of these items once I am out of the shop.
Come with cash only. No checks or cards accepted.
PS: anyone with items still at the shop, you need to come get them in the next month or so. If not, they will be sold or sent to scrap.
Please, no questions about items or prices on this post. Come in person to inquire. If you made it this far into this post, thank you for taking the time to read it all.
Lastly, Randy Hofstetter, you are not invited. Don't even think about it.
