URGENT PUBLIC WARNING TO SHED MANUFACTURERS, DEALERS, AND RENT-TO-OWN COMPANIES
Rhino Sheds is publicly warning other businesses about dealing with B&E Sales and Gary Forthman located at 1004 Pocalla Rd in Sumter, South Carolina.
Based on contracts, invoices, payment records, sales documentation, and communications in our possession, B&E Sales and Gary Forthman owe Rhino Sheds more than $86,000 for sheds that were supplied to and sold from their location.
Our evidence shows that sheds belonging to Rhino Sheds were sold through a rent-to-own company, that payment for those sheds was deposited directly into an account controlled by B&E Sales, and that the money owed to Rhino Sheds was never turned over to us.
They received the benefit of our inventory, sold the buildings, collected the proceeds, and failed to pay Rhino Sheds. Despite repeated opportunities to resolve this matter, the outstanding balance remains unpaid.
In our experience, Gary Forthman has repeatedly attempted to avoid responsibility by presenting himself as the victim, offering excuses, and shifting blame instead of accounting for the money received from the sale of our sheds. He has also claimed that Rhino Sheds owes him money for commissions while ignoring the substantially larger amount that he owes Rhino Sheds.
We consider this conduct dishonest, unethical, and completely unacceptable. No manufacturer should have to watch its inventory be sold while another business keeps the proceeds.
We strongly urge every shed manufacturer, vendor, rent-to-own provider, financing company, and customer to exercise extreme caution before conducting business with B&E Sales or Gary Forthman. Verify ownership of every building, confirm where payments are being deposited, require direct payment controls, and do not release inventory without strong contractual protections.
Rhino Sheds has documentation supporting the statements made in this notice and is prepared to pursue all available legal remedies to recover the inventory proceeds and unpaid balance.
Do your due diligence before trusting B&E Sales or Gary Forthman with your buildings, your money, or your business.
