⚡ Powering What's Next at UCF.

JamesCo Builders, LLC has been awarded a new switch room upgrades project at the University of Central Florida's Lake Claire community.

The project includes upgrades to critical electrical and HVAC systems, along with generator replacement.

But the work isn't simply about upgrading the systems.

It's about maintaining continuity while the switch room remains online and operating throughout the project.

For JCB, projects like this are an opportunity to bring together technical expertise, coordination, and disciplined ex*****on to keep critical operations moving forward.

The best builders never stop being students. 📚

team spent a day at the 2026 ABC Central Florida EdTech Summit, and we came away with fresh ideas, new connections, and a lot of information to bring back.

We saw robotics, drones, advanced equipment, and digital tools that are changing how commercial projects get planned, coordinated, and delivered. But the real value wasn't the tech itself. It was the conversations with construction professionals and innovators who are figuring out how to put it to work on real jobsites.

A few things we're still thinking about:
🔹 How drone data can sharpen site planning and progress tracking
🔹 Where robotics fits into safety on the jobsite
🔹 How better digital coordination keeps owners, trades, and teams on the same page

Our industry is changing fast. Staying curious and investing in learning is how we make sure our clients get the benefit of what's next, not just what's familiar.

That's part of how we keep Building Better. Together.

is proud to expand our work in the education sector with a new 9-school project for Orange County Public Schools.

The project will bring added security to these public schools, supporting the goal of creating safer, stronger learning environments across Central Florida.

But projects in active educational environments are about more than just construction.
They're about how the work is planned, how construction is coordinated around daily campus operations, and how safety remains central from start to finish.

This project represents another step in JamesCo Builders’ growing education portfolio and an opportunity to contribute to safer campuses, stronger communities, and brighter futures.
