Walk-along vegetable garden planting demonstration this Sunday October 12th @ 10:00am at 24600 Lester Way in Eustis. We have multiple garden beds already filled with soil which I will be planting a variety of cool season crops in, teaching you everything I know about each one as I walk and plant. It is $5 per person and will last about an hour long. We have a 10 person limit for this class, so as long as this post is up, there are still spots available. Hi everyone, fall planting season is almost here! 🌻 The Growcery Store offers backyard garden bed installations where we can build, fill, plant, irrigate and educate, so all you need is to keep the garden tidy and harvest after we are gone! Our beds are constructed of 100% natural thick-cut cypress, filled with pure broken down mushroom compost soil, and planted with the seeds and sprouts of your choice.

We also keep our prices low as possible, because we believe everyone should have access to fresh healthy food, free from the supply chains. Our gardens are so productive due to the special soil we use that most pay themselves off in about a year or so and then go on to produce thousands of dollars worth of food additionally in their lifetime. It’s not just a hobby, it’s an actual investment to be sustainable and save money all while living healthier. You don’t need to have any experience to be successful your very first season, and you don’t even need to have a lot of time to maintain it either; for example, in peak growing season you only need to w**d most gardens just two minutes a day.

To give you an idea on price, our full garden install including the cypress bed, soil, and all seeds and sprouts planted start at $395 for our smallest size (1ftx4ftx4ft) and go up from there. We can also do custom orders too!

If a full install isn’t really your thing and you are more of a DIYer, I also offer informational consultations as well! In these, I would come out to your property, walk the yard with you and tell you exactly where to plant, what materials to use, where to get them, how to care for what you are planting and then answering any questions you may have. These sessions are $50/hr within 5 miles of Mount Dora, and increase based off of driving distance to the location.

We are so excited to kick off this fall season and get planting! Below I’ve posted some pictures of our work as well as our list you can choose from if we build a garden for you.

You will learn the six things needed to make any garden thrive, what to plant, when to plant, and where to plant, as well as troubleshooting tips and a Q and A at the end for any issues you’ve personally run into that you need help with. Harvest time has finally arrived along with a fun new way to get your produce! 🥦🧅🌶️🍋 On my website, you can now order weekly subscription blind-boxes of all natural, locally grown food. You have a choice of three different box sizes, then you choose all the produce you are interested in, and every week I will handpick your box based off of the list of things you like with what is available that week in the garden! Every Sunday, your box will be picked fresh the morning of and available for pickup from my bus right here in Mount Dora. It is with great honor that I would like to announce the bus will be attending A Natural Farm and Educational center’s annual Learn & Grow Festival this upcoming weekend December 2nd & 3rd! I will be vending veggie seedlings, fresh all-natural produce, and garden related items of all kinds! Beyond excited to start off the harvest season with such wonderful people. Hello, my friends! It has been a long hiatus during these warmer months, but the bus is finally coming back! Starting in November, I will be starting to harvest the new season, hosting classes on the bus, as well as implementing a new model to get more fresh produce out to more people here in our community!
