A beautiful home, a special celebration, and a well-deserved retirement! 🏡

This project is officially complete, and last night brought an extra-special opportunity to celebrate!

The homeowners hosted a housewarming party that doubled as a surprise retirement celebration for our very own Andy Hess. Everyone who played a part in bringing this home to life was invited to enjoy an evening of good food, fellowship, and an opportunity to see the finished home together.

We are incredibly grateful to this wonderful couple for opening their home to everyone involved in the project and for helping us celebrate Andy and this exciting new chapter ahead of him.

Projects like this are about so much more than the finished product. They're about the relationships built along the way, the people who bring a vision to life, and the memories made along the journey.

Andy, we are so very grateful for the 47 years God has so richly blessed us and countless clients through your vast knowledge, dedication, and servant's heart. We know you can never be replaced, and you will forever be a part of the Dombach Builders family!

September 11, 2001 — We Remember. 🇺🇸

Twenty-five years later, we remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the courage of the first responders who ran toward danger when others were running away.

Today, we pause to honor their memory and the spirit of strength, sacrifice, and unity that followed.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

From demolition and a fresh start to a beautiful finished home—this project has officially come full circle. 🏡

When we first introduced this project, we shared a rendering and a glimpse of the existing home. What followed was a complete transformation on the existing foundation, turning 2,527 sq. ft. of space into a thoughtfully designed custom home that feels entirely new.

We’ve loved watching this one take shape—from the first days of demolition, to framing, to seeing the rooflines and exterior details emerge, and finally, watching all of the custom finishes come together.

From the cathedral ceilings and custom cabinetry to the beautiful stonework, handcrafted wood details, fireplace, and carefully selected finishes throughout, this home is filled with details that make it uniquely theirs.

And, of course, a project like this takes an incredible team. Thank you to all of our trade partners and craftsmen who brought their expertise and attention to detail to this home. We’re grateful for the work you put into making the vision a reality.

We’re proud of how this one came together, and even more excited that it’s now ready for the homeowners to enjoy.

From the first photo to the final one, what a transformation. ❤️

✨ It’s all in the details now…

This custom home has come a LONG way since we first shared that freshly poured foundation—and lately, some of the details we've been waiting to see are finally coming together!

Outside, the combination of crisp white siding, natural stone, dark roofing, standing seam metal accents, and those beautiful gable details is giving this home so much character. The renovated outbuilding is tying into the new home beautifully, too.

And inside? Things are getting exciting. 🏡

Custom cabinetry is being installed, the stone fireplace is taking center stage, flooring is underway, and the warm wood tones are beginning to add another layer of character to the light-filled interior.

This is the stage where so many of the selections made months ago finally start meeting each other—and we love watching it happen.

There’s still work to be done, but this one is looking more like home every day.

It's taking shape.

With every update, this custom rebuild looks a little less like a construction site and a little more like the home it was designed to be.

The roofing is complete, the windows are in, and the front elevation is beginning to showcase the character and craftsmanship that make this project unique. What started as an aging home is being transformed into a beautifully reimagined custom residence designed for the homeowners' next chapter.

Next up, the exterior finishes will begin bringing even more character to this home, and we can't wait to share the progress.

🏡 The vision is becoming reality.

It’s amazing to look back at where this project started just a few months ago.

Since our last update, this custom home has seen incredible progress. The roof is complete, Marvin windows have been installed, siding is going up, and the wrap-around porch and lanai are beginning to showcase the outdoor living spaces that will make this home so special.

Every phase brings us one step closer to delivering a home that's been thoughtfully designed and carefully crafted from the ground up. ✨

A huge thank you to our talented trade partners and dedicated crew for the craftsmanship and attention to detail that continue to bring this project to life. We can't wait to share what's next!

The transformation is becoming easier to see with every passing week.

What started as an aging home, then a demolition site, is now rapidly taking shape as a completely reimagined custom residence.

With windows installed, roofing underway, and the home's distinct architectural details beginning to emerge, the vision behind this project is becoming reality. It's always rewarding to reach the stage where homeowners can begin to see their future home come to life beyond the plans and renderings.

There's still plenty of work ahead, but the progress made so far has been exciting to watch, and we're looking forward to sharing what's next.

Stay tuned as this transformation continues.

✨ We're excited to share the completion of this beautiful primary en-suite bathroom remodel.

A key part of this transformation involved expanding the bathroom into previously underutilized hallway space from the original home design, creating a more functional layout and allowing the homeowners to make the most of their primary suite.

The space was completely refreshed with a custom vanity, quartz countertops, a built-in window seat, luxury vinyl plank flooring, and a stunning tiled tub-shower wet room featuring a frameless glass enclosure. Every detail was carefully selected to create a bathroom that feels bright, timeless, and tailored to the homeowners' needs.

Projects like this are truly a team effort, and we're grateful to have partnered with some outstanding local companies along the way:

▪️ Milton Grove Woodworks – Custom vanity and window seat cabinetry
▪️ Indoor City – Quartz countertops, tile work, and flooring
▪️ H2,LLC – Frameless glass enclosure
▪️ Hixon Plumbing – Plumbing fixtures and accessories
▪️ Key Mechanical – Electric Work

Thank you to our clients for trusting us with their home. We love helping bring these spaces to life and seeing the finished result come together.

From demolition to this—in just one week.

Last week, we shared photos of this home being taken down to the original foundation. Today, the rebuild is already standing tall.

Projects like this are a great reminder of how quickly progress can happen when careful planning, skilled craftsmanship, and a dedicated team come together.

There's still plenty of work ahead, but seeing the footprint, rooflines, and spaces begin to take shape makes the vision feel real.

We're excited to keep sharing the journey as this custom home continues to come together.

Out with the old, making way for the new.

Demolition is complete on this custom rebuild project, leaving only the existing foundation as the starting point for what's ahead.

While it may not look like much right now, this is where the excitement begins. In the months ahead, this site will be transformed into a beautifully crafted custom home designed specifically for its owners.

These are some of our favorite updates to share because they truly showcase the journey—from the original home, to a clean slate, to the finished product.

Next up: rebuilding.
