This is a client that had water running down the side of the house that is suppose to go in gutter, plus not flashed nor sealed, so water entered under the threshold and behind siding. We pulled the first deck board and flashed and sealed with silicone and added a diverter to the end of gutter to force the water 💧 into the gutter and not down the siding. Then we had to pull up floor, do to warped floors from water. Replaced the decking and added more v***r barrier, then relayed the floor.

Here we had to just take old down and start over, but we can repair and do preventative maintenance to get you another 15 yrs most times, by keeping the bones off the deck and replace deck boards, railing and most often the stairs as it’s just the stringers left.
