Generator Installation Technician

Position Summary
JL Britt Electric, Inc., known as "The Generator Folks!", is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our field team as a Generator Installation Technician.

No prior generator experience is required—we are eager to invest in and train the right candidate! Starting pay is competitive and increases directly as your skills and technical capabilities grow. Key Responsibilities
Generator System Support: Assist in the installation, maintenance, and routine testing of generator systems and related electrical components.
Physical Field Operations: Perform physical tasks on jobsites, including accessing crawl spaces, working in tight quarters, and safely climbing ladders.
Safety & Compliance: Follow all company procedures, safety protocols, and proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards on every job.
Jobsite Care: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, vehicle, and work area at all times.
Teamwork: Work alongside experienced technicians and follow supervisor instructions to deliver exceptional craftsmanship to our customers.
Requirements
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Licensure: Valid driver's license.
Physical Capability: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including crawling under structures, standing for extended periods, heavy lifting, and climbing ladders.
Mindset: Strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and an uncompromised commitment to safety.
