Just an FYI, for all the people that have push button Combination locks on their stores Safes or homes. This is the time of the year you want to change your battery because the cold weather will affect the old battery you have in your lock if the lock is in your house and it’s warm, you still should change it at least once a year if it’s used more than a couple times a day, I would change it twice a year. Some people have no clue what things cost today, we have people that call from an hour away that are locked out of their car and we give them a price of 145 and they tell us we’re ripping them off. They have no idea it cost us 60 bucks to drive there and back ,my guy or myself have to work for two hours to get there and back. The nerve.

When purchasing batteries to put in a safe door lock do not purchase the ever ready Elkhorn batteries or the Duracell max or the energizer pro they are too much power and they will stop your product from working. You should always go with a Duracell copper top with a good date of 2032 or a standard energizernothing more or nothing less

If you haven’t replaced your 9 V or AA batteries in your home safe or gun safe in a while. It’s time to do that. Please make sure you’re looking at the dates on the batteries. You should be putting a copper top or a standard battery. That is a good quality and the date should say 2032 or higher on the battery.
