This was a fun job we did for TightLines Construction, LLC We brought in the dirt and built up the pads for the raised slab foundation. This allows the homeowner to walk right out of their living room to get in the pool which over looks the Ashley River.

People tell us all the time that they have drainage issues and their yard turns into a pond after a rain. 99% of the time it ends up being a small puddle or a few soggy areas in the yard. Well here is to the 1%!

For this job we installed a drainage system comprised of two 18” drain boxes, 200’ of solid drain line, 150 ft of French drains, and a 1/2 HP sump pump. We also brought in 2 loads of fill dirt to raise and re-grade parts of the yard and finished it up with St. Augustine sod.

We completed this job a few months back and we are proud to say that the client hasn’t had any drainage issues since.

Our client was having flooding issues and steep drop offs by the sides of the pool deck due to bad grading. We hauled out the excess dirt, rocks and debris and then properly graded around the pool. We decreased the slope of the grade around the backside of the pool and smoothed out a section of the yard that allowed water to properly drain. Now this yard is ready for sod and no longer has to worry about drainage issues.
