A look across several recent Tommy Pollina Landscape Co. Inc drainage installations throughout Park Ridge, Long Grove, Glenview, Highland Park, and Glencoe.

When properties are dealing with significant water volume, the solution isn’t simply adding a pipe and covering it with dirt. The entire system has to be designed to capture, convey, and discharge water efficiently.

• City of Park Ridge — Oversized 6-inch PVC designed to handle large volumes of water collected from multiple downspouts and drainage sources.

Solving Landscape Problems for 45 Years

Yesterday, at Tommy Pollina Landscape Co. Inc ‘s corporate headquarters - we received a call that perfectly illustrates why nearly half a century of experience matters in drainage.

The homeowner told us they had spent hours researching drainage solutions on our website, studying our installation photos, and learning about the different systems we build. They then showed those photos to their landscaper and asked if he could recreate one of our drainage systems.

The landscaper tried.

About halfway through the project, he stopped and admitted he wasn’t going to be able to get it done correctly. His recommendation to the homeowner was simple:

“You need to call Tommy Pollina.”

The homeowner then called us and asked if we could evaluate what had been installed and redesign the system so it functions the way it was intended.
