FYI: White Oak VS. Red Oak

White oak has a tighter grain with cooler, neutral tones, making it more resistant to moisture and dents.

Red oak offers a classic, traditional look with warmer, reddish hues and a more pronounced grain pattern. (Typically used and seen in Chicago Bungalows)

White oak is slightly harder and typically more expensive.
Red oak is a durable and more budget-friendly option.
