It’s starting to come together for the new career & technical education center at Minooka Community High School District #111’s Central Campus!

Crews are making steady progress on electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems while interior finishes like terrazzo flooring, ceiling features, painting, and glass installation continue throughout the building. Work is also underway on the new locker room!

A new home for the Des Plaines Fire Department is on the way! We have entered the first phase of construction that will bring a new facility to Fire Station 62. Last week, we began demolition of the old fire station, which had served the department for nearly 71 years!

The new station will be a major upgrade for firefighters, being nearly double the size of the old building and featuring a hose tower for proper hose drying and storage.

We're proud to be part of a project that will serve the City of Des Plaines Government community for decades to come!

Hitting the home stretch in Joliet Public Schools District 86! Progress is moving quickly at the new buildings for Gompers and Hufford Junior High Schools.

At Gompers, work continues throughout the building as crews install casework, countertops, flooring, and ceilings while painting and final finishes begin in several areas. Outside, sitework, stair construction, exterior windows, and the cafeteria canopy are all moving forward.

At Hufford, interior work includes gym flooring, acoustic panels, casework, and final trims, while exterior efforts focus on athletic entrances, site grading, sidewalks, landscaping, and track construction.

Stay tuned as we get these buildings ready for their first full school year!

Celebrating the start of something special at Hickory Point School! We recently joined Northbrook School District 27 to mark the beginning of construction on a new 15,000+ sq. ft. addition.

Over the next two years, this project will add a multi-purpose room, sensory areas, new offices, and classrooms, while also enhancing the outdoor areas with a new playground and stormwater retention system.

Another investment in education is underway in Joliet Public Schools District 86! We officially broke ground yesterday on a new addition coming to Thomas Jefferson Elementary School. The project includes a 14,000 sq. ft. expansion featuring four new classrooms, a gymnasium, a new main office, and renovations to six existing classrooms; all of which will be ready for the start of the 2027-2028 school year!

We’re proud to continue our partnership with Joliet Public Schools District 86 and help their students thrive.

Marking a milestone for Village of Elk Grove Village, Illinois! We recently joined our partners at Spectate Group, Elk Grove Village Mayor Craig Johnson, and other community members to leave a mark on the new Elk Grove Ice Arena.

Progress is moving quickly on the twin-sheet ice arena, and it will be ready for skaters later this year!

Not your average demo day 🚒 The Mount Prospect Fire Department recently used our future North Cook Intermediate Service Center project for a Forcible Entry and Post-Incident Investigation training exercise before the rest of the demolition begins. Glad we could support the department with a real-world training space!

We’re moving fast at the new Early Childhood Center coming to Skokie School District 68!

Interior finishes are moving quickly with casework, classroom flooring, electrical work, and exterior siding all underway. Over the next few weeks, crews will continue pushing toward completion with final ceiling work, HVAC connections, plumbing trims, window installations, and the start of playground equipment installation outside.

The finished product is right around the corner. Stay tuned!
