Yingling Builders You Dream It, We Build It! Seth Yingling, a Brown County, IL native, graduated from Illinois College in 2010 and joined the family business, ServiceMaster.

Yingling Builders combines structured systems, professional communication, guided design, and family driven values to create a homebuilding experience that is organized, transparent, and intentionally led from start to finish. In 2014, he married Stephanie, and they reside in BC with their four children: Beckett, twins Berkelee and Briggs, and youngest son, Baylor. Seth has garnered over 15 years

of experience in water, fire, and mold restoration within the family business. Growing the post-disaster construction aspect of ServiceMaster, he discovered his passion for construction. In 2017, Seth and Stephanie built their forever home on the family farm, marking Seth’s initial foray into new construction. In 2019, he launched Yingling Builders, LLC, becoming a preferred builder for Neylon Farms Subdivision in Mount Sterling, IL, in 2020. Seth introduced Wausau Home Products in 2021 and earned the title of Premier Builder for Wausau in 2023. A devoted St. Louis Cardinals Baseball fan, Seth coaches his kids' teams, sharing his sports passion. He is a committed Christian and family man who relishes activities like hunting, fishing, gardening, traveling, and caring for the family’s newest addition—chickens. Seth prides himself on delivering the highest quality craftsmanship and customer service, ensuring clients are delighted in their new homes. Services:

We asked Ryan from Right Rate Roofing what it’s really like working with a General Contractor compared to working directly with a homeowner and his answer says a lot!

One thing people don’t always see during a build is how important the relationships behind the scenes really are.

When subcontractors and General Contractors already know and trust each other, communication becomes smoother, problems get solved faster, and the entire process feels less stressful for everyone involved.

That kind of teamwork matters because building a home takes a whole team working toward the same goal: creating a home families can feel proud of for years to come. ❤️

This verse has really challenged us lately.

It’s easy in business to get caught up in growth, numbers, recognition, or trying to prove yourself. But at the end of the day, we just want to be faithful with whatever God places in front of us. The homes, the people, the conversations, the hard days, the details no one else sees.

We’re not always going to get everything perfect, but we do believe the work matters. And we believe people deserve our best effort, whether it’s a major custom build or simply answering a homeowner’s text after a long day.

We don’t want to build a business that just looks good from the outside. We want to build one rooted in integrity, care, and stewardship.

“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might.” Ecclesiastes 9:10

That’s the standard we’re trying to live by every day.

You know that feeling when you pull in the driveway at night and everything just feels calm?

The porch lights glowing, flowers blooming, a couple chairs waiting on the front porch after a long day. That feeling matters to us just as much as the house itself.

We think people sometimes assume design is about making things look expensive or trendy, but for us it’s really about creating a home that feels warm and welcoming the second you pull in. A place your kids grow up loving. A place your friends want to gather. A place that feels like yours.
