It has been a while since I made a post of our work, but this one is a first for this grade. We provided, installed, sanded and finished a 6 1/4”x 3/4” engineered floor in what is called a live sawn product. That mean as they cut it, however it comes, out it goes into the flooring . It’s known for it’s character. We filled the big knots and splits to make sure dust and debris doesn’t collect. It is absolutely a beautiful floor with a large quantity of 10’ length boards to give it an amazing look. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s finished Natural (no stain) and finished with water-based Loba 2k satin. A very unique and beautiful home with beautiful floors.

We just finished up with this beautiful reclaimed wood. The homeowner bought the flooring, had their contractors lay it and our job was to come in and finish it. It seems easy enough but there are many factors to take in consideration. The first and foremost being how to clean it up and prep it and give it a great finish without compromising all the beauty of the old saw marks and patina. I believe we knocked it out of the park. The homeowners are very happy and we are too.

Just wanted to share another floor done and in the books. We originally did this floor between 18-20 years ago I believe. She had a new room to do and decided we should just do them all again. While the older ones we did still looked beautiful they had some wear from everyday life. Now she has a new floor again. These pine floors are absolutely gorgeous. One of our latest project we’ve done. They have older prefinished Bruce flooring that had worn and faded and needed to be updated. We sanded them down, stained them and put a commercial grade finish in a satin sheen on the floor. It turned out beautifully. Here are the before and afters. I believe I have a new favorite color for stain. Warm Gray on an older white oak prefinished floor. This is the second coat going on and it’s going to be amazing when it’s done.

We originally installed these beautiful White Oak floors and sanded them probably close to 20 years ago. The new owners decided to do a full kitchen remodel and we were tasked with patching in the floor where the existing cabinets were. We patched the new wood in and came back after the cabinets were installed due to scheduling to sand and finish the kitchen and foyer. The goal was to match the new floor refinishing to the old floor. I believe we came very close. It’s a beautiful new floor now In a beautiful new kitchen.
