There’s something pretty special about watching the next generation learn the craft from the one who started it all.
This is my son, Jonas — spending time working with his grandpa, Bill Peckinpaugh, founder of Wood Knot.
Bill started in furniture repair and refinishing back in 1974, and decades later, he’s still passing down the diligence, attention to detail, and pride in craftsmanship that built this business from the ground up.
In a world that moves fast, there’s something meaningful about slowing down to learn a trade the right way — hands-on, side-by-side, and from someone who has spent a lifetime perfecting it.
Proud of Jonas for wanting to learn and excelling at the craft. He’s already completed 2 projects on his own.
Incredibly grateful for Bill — the foundation of not only what Wood Knot is today— but our family ❤️
