Responsibilities:

-Responsible for climbing, pruning and removing trees on residential and commercial properties.
-Properly prepare, maintain and safely operate all tools and equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and climbing gear.
-Operates as part of a crew supporting the Crew Foreman.
-Ensure excellent Customer Service

Qualifications:

-Climbing experience utilizing rope and saddle when pruning, knowledge of knots, chainsaw operation and chipper operation.
-Experience with Aerial Lifts desired
-Familiarity with ANSI standards
-Driver’s License required.
-Experience with crew management, training, customer service, and safety procedures are highly valuable.

Responsibilities:
Assist with the implementation of work zone safety procedures such as the placement of cones and signs
Assist climbers and crew leaders working on the ground and aloft
Operate and maintain chippers, chainsaws, and all other equipment safely
Assist with driving, backing, dumping, and parking duties
Learn and demonstrate high safety standards, sound tree risk assessment skills, equipment inspection skills, proper pruning and rigging skills, and implementation of tree felling procedures
Responsible for carrying out other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader or designated supervisor, Arborist Representative, or Local Manager
Qualifications:
Interest in working outdoors year round performing manual labor in all weather conditions
Valid driver’s license and clean MVR
Prior tree care, landscaping, forestry, or horticulture experience is preferred but not required.
