Monday - Friday, day begins at 8 AM. Some paid holidays.
Some experience preferred. Training can and will be provided for the right candidate.
Pay is negotiable with experience.
Drivers license required.
Tasks include:
Load truck with 50 pound bags of fertilizer (containing pesticides) from pallets in storage by hand
Handle and mix pesticides with water
Maintain clean truck and equipment
Maintain safety and spill kit
Wear company provided uniform shirts
Locate and verify property address of service is correct
Keep service records in order for the days route
Record what quantities of fertilizer and or pesticides were used on each property
Safeguard customer information on cards and lists
Know fertilizer rates for property
Know pesticide best use and rates
Identify weeds and control
Operate push spreader
Operate hand pump sprayer
Operate hand or back pack blower or broom to clean up customers driveways, patios and walkways
Promote company to new prospective customers in existing neighborhoods by handing out company business cards
Mark property with pesticide business flag
Record application on customer notice
Clean empty bags and debris from truck at end of day
Refill and reload water, pesticides, and flags
Refuel truck and gas can as needed
Change or add oil and fluids in small engines and service truck as needed
Use company issued credit card for fuel and pre-authorized supplies
Other tasks as needed
