Seasonal entry level Lawn Care Technician to perform land care maintenance services on client properties.

Prep Trucks & equipment
Follow Inventory Procedures
Openly receive training for field needs, safety, equipment, technique, etc.
Performing landscape and maintenance tasks on client properties
Perform maintenance of lawns & gardens, and cleanups
Perform all tasks of operations including but not limited to mowing, line trimming, blowing, leaf and debris removal, weeding, edging, hedging, raking and mulch installation
Proper use of safety equipment and Personal Protective Equipment and ergonomic practices
Prepare for the next day’s jobs every evening
Unloading/loading equipment and materials
Strict adherence to the company's employee manual & procedures as required from all employees

Responsibilities:

First to Report to Shop to review the day's work with the Foremen
Client, labor, and asset scheduling & communication
Trucks, equipment, and inventory tracking and deployment
Openly receive training for management, safety, equipment, technique, management, etc.
Leading the Land Care Foreman in operations, quality control, training, punctuality, and safety
Lead in appropriating all tools, fuel, and other necessary equipment/materials
Lead in oversight of checking truck oil, fluids, tire pressure, proper trailer connection, and all lights/brakes are in working condition
Lead in training and managing landscape and maintenance tasks on client properties
Lead the Foreman to ensure the work contracted is implemented efficiently and according to the contracted specifications
Lead the labor team associated with the maintenance of all lawns & gardens, and cleanups
Lead in performing and training all tasks of operations including but not limited to scheduling, planning, coaching, mowing, line trimming, blowing, leaf and debris removal, weeding, edging, hedging, raking and mulch installation
Lead in the proper use of safety equipment and Personal Protective Equipment and ergonomic practices of the crews
Address questions or concerns with the clients as needed. Communicate customer opportunities immediately with their Account Representative
Track field labor and review crews’ time cards. Verify all job site reports were completed & confirm all sales opportunities have been reported
Review the entire week’s scheduled work and confirm preparation is completed for the next day’s jobs every evening
Lead the Foreman to lead their team in unloading/loading equipment and materials
Lead the team in washing dirty equipment {including all mower decks} and return to their approved storage location. Report damaged or broken equipment to management immediately, and schedule equipment drop off at shop location for repair
Lead in filling trucks, mowers, equipment, and cans with fuel additive & fuel in preparation for the next day (or as necessary)
Lead in updating the schedule for rest of week (or next week if end of week)
Lead in a strict adherence to the company's employee manual & procedures as required from all employees
Lead in Accurate Job Reporting
Lead in Equipment Maintenance
Lead in Safety enhancement program director
Lead in Field work and performance
Educational requirements:

High School diploma or GED
2 or 4 year degree in a Landscape or Business related field is beneficial
Hardscaping, sod, and drainage experience required
Applicator’s license, ICPI, and NCMA certifications are very beneficial
Experience requirements:

Valid drivers license
Good driving record
Reliable transportation and current proof of insurance
5+ years prior landscape installation experience
Ability to read & write English, including maps & diagrams.
Desired Skills:

Strong organizational skills
Complete appropriate paperwork and reports
High quality customer service
Follow directions and process/procedures
High level communication skills
Bi-lingual is very beneficial
Qualifications:

Ability to work in a team environment with members of varying skill levels
Highly motivated quick learner
Drug free work environment, a random drug test policy is in force
Ability to lift 60+ lbs consistently throughout the day.
High attention to detail…the customer doesn’t see what we do, they see what we don’t do that they paid for.
High ability to deal with ambiguity in a high stress environment while keeping your composure on and off the job.
Available to work a varied schedule (including Saturdays) in any and all adverse weather conditions.
Stoop, stand and bend for 10+ hours a day.
Strong Knowledge of land care maintenance required
Study daily if not experienced in all areas of landscaping
