Please join us in welcoming Beau Scroggins to the IMS service team for the 2026 Bristol Bay season!
Many of you may have already met Beau at PME this year, and we’re excited to officially have him representing IMS in Naknek this summer. Originally from Whidbey Island, Washington, Beau brings strong ties to the commercial fishing and maritime industries — along with the kind of hands-on experience that fishermen value when the season is on the line.
Beau grew up around shipyards and vessel construction and has worked in commercial fisheries throughout Washington and Alaska, including the South Line in Egegik. He has extensive experience in fabrication, welding, diesel engine maintenance, troubleshooting, and the kind of real-world “figure it out and get it done” skills that are critical in Bristol Bay.
Since joining IMS in November 2025, Beau has been working directly in our shop alongside our team, learning IMS systems inside and out — from assembly and testing to troubleshooting and service procedures. He has spent the off-season getting hands-on training with the equipment our customers rely on every day, and we’re confident he’ll be a tremendous resource for fleets this summer.
Beau will be in Naknek from 5/24 through 8/2 supporting IMS customers with start-ups, troubleshooting, service calls, and winterizations. We strongly encourage customers to get on the schedule early, especially for start-ups and end-of-season winterizations, as availability fills quickly once the season gets underway.
