Man oh Man what a night! To some I’m sure it don’t seem like a big deal to get to sponser a race at your local dirt track but to me and my wife it was an amazing opportunity that I’m very grateful for! Also I can’t thank you guys enough, Rick, JJ, Topper, Jason, Rowdy, (lil JJ) and I’m sure i missed a couple but Thank you all for coming and racing in the factory stock race! Now let me start by saying I get it, the transmission is just a small piece to the puzzle that makes it work, but I’ve seen over the years that the transmissions I build are a gateway to friendships with folks that love this stuff as much as I do and that was on full display last night, It was also really cool to see the very first powerglide i built that started this dirt track adventure still clicking laps off in Rick Edgerton’s car, that thing is on season number 4 or 5 all the way to one i built just a few months ago was out there to, it’s wild to think of everything that’s happened between the building of those 2 units, You all ran great races i hope more than anything it was a fun night for you all because it was for me and my wife for sure, Rowdy congratulations sir on showing that ol Ryno-Might still has some dig left in it, the pull you had on restarts looked big, you definitely put it on the top and drove it, Topper thank you man, hand surgery at the end of the week and 1 1/4 hand wheeling it last night, Rick thank you for making it out, running a race and taking a chance on letting me build you the glide that started it all, JJ and lil JJ thank you both for coming out and wheeling your cars around there, to all of you guys I value the friendships we’ve built more then you know, I’ll end with this so i don’t make something that takes your entire Sunday to read 😂😂 so stay safe, dodge the wrecks, find the front and run away to find the checkered. Oh and congratulations to lil JJ on winning that powerglide, I’ll post some pics later we had a long night after the races, both kids to the ER one with a possible spider bite and out of nowhere my daughter spent from 2am to 6:45 passing a kidney stone so keep em in your thoughts it’s been a long nite day kinda all rolled into 1!
