Robert F. Schwake began delivering stones in 1949, and with that first delivery, a tradition of quality, service and satisfaction was set into motion that we still value today - more than 70 years later. As the company grew and our reputation expanded, we began receiving requests for a more diversified product selection. In the 1960s we acquired additional yard space to accommodate more stone prod
ucts, and the addition of saws to custom cut limestone on-site. Today that tradition of excellence continues. With a combined total of well over 200 years of experience in the industry, our employees bring expert knowledge and experience to every customer. Our Mundelein, Illinois location has two indoor showrooms and a paved 7.5 display yard featuring over 100 varieties of building stone, 40 types of landscaping gravel and sand, landscape boulders and flagstone, marble and granite. While we have expanded our product offerings and services over the years, one thing that hasn't changed is our commitment to quality, service and satisfaction.
