🪲 Japanese Beetle Alert for the Oneida Area
Weather and soil-temperature data indicate that our area has entered the early alert range for Japanese beetle activity.
Japanese beetles can damage flowers, shrubs, and trees as adults, while their larvae—commonly known as white grubs—feed on lawn roots below the soil.
At Deep Roots Turf Solutions, we use Growing Degree Day data and local weather conditions to help determine the proper timing for lawn treatments. Timing matters: preventive grub control must be applied before significant damage occurs later in the season.
Customers enrolled in grub prevention do not need to do anything—we are monitoring local conditions and will apply treatments during the appropriate service window.
