A customer out on the lakes ordered some patio furniture from Lowe’s that was supposed to come pre-assembled… but it didn’t! 😬 She needed some help in a pinch, so I ran by, got everything put together, installed, and ready for her to enjoy!

We haven’t been posting much lately because we’ve been absolutely slammed with work, and we’re beyond thankful for every one of our customers! Here’s just a few of the projects we’ve completed over the past month.

🏠 Full Home Remodel
• Installed new LVP flooring throughout the entire home with no transition strips for a seamless look.
• Replaced every exterior door, including a beautiful set of French doors.
• Installed all new interior doors throughout the house.
• Installed brand-new butcher block countertops.
• Installed a new sink and faucet.
• Installed new 5” baseboards throughout.
• Upgraded all the door casing/trim for a fresh, modern finish.

🍽️ Kitchen Remodel
• Installed new LVP flooring.
• Painted and installed matching quarter round for a clean finished look.

Along the way we’ve also:
✔️ Installed several exterior doors.
✔️ Installed a new submersible pump.
✔️ Installed five new storm doors.
✔️ Patched textured ceilings.
✔️ Painted a kitchen and ceiling.
✔️ Painted a chimney black for a bold new look.

Today was one of the most humbling and meaningful days of my life.
Our crew at Twin Lakes Construction had the privilege of volunteering our time to paint the Calloway County Jail—the very place where I spent 49 months of my life.
Walking back through those doors today brought back a lot of memories. That jail is where I finally stopped making excuses and started taking responsibility for my actions. It’s where I learned how to become a better man, a better husband, a better father, and a better child of God. I paid my debt to society there, but I also found a new purpose for my life.
The men and women who wear the uniform at Calloway County Jail were more than correctional officers to me. Many became mentors, friends, and some of my biggest supporters. They treated me with respect while holding me accountable, and they played a huge role in helping shape the man I am today. I’ll never forget that.
Being able to return today—not as an inmate, but as a business owner volunteering to give back—was something I’ll never take for granted. It’s proof that redemption is real, people can change, and God can transform even the darkest seasons of our lives into something good.
Thank you to the Calloway County Jail for allowing us to serve today. It was an honor to give back to a place and a community that helped change my life forever.
If my story can encourage even one person who’s struggling or thinks they’re beyond hope, let this be your reminder: your past doesn’t have to define your future. Keep doing the next right thing, trust God, and never give up on yourself.
