Most of you see us posting about our employees passing their NICET certifications. But what is NICET exactly?

NICET stands for the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies. It is one of the most recognized certification programs in the fire protection industry.

NICET certification helps demonstrate that a technician has the knowledge and experience needed to work with fire protection systems and meet nationally recognized industry standards.

At Fire Engineering, we believe in investing in our people and encouraging continued growth. We support employees who pursue NICET certification because it strengthens their knowledge, creates career opportunities, and helps raise the standard across our industry.
