Little life update! Finished remodeling my entryway, making custom oak stairs and flooring, with some beautiful Spanish tile for the risers.
Afterwards I did a custom Sprinter build, then started a second build, only to be slowed down by a severed tendon in a ski accident. Definitely slowed down my winter, but after surgery and time off my leg, I’m back to walking. One more van build in the queue, then it’s back to woodworking. Thanks for your patience @ the many people that have messaged me for projects. Stoked to get back on the woodworking grind soon!

The Winespring. Inspired by fantasy novels, I designed a piece that would test my skills and push beyond traditional furniture making. After crafting the octagonal carcass and legs, I dedicated a week to carving the door. Life intervened, and the project sat dormant for six months. When I returned to it, the door had cupped, and I was hesitant to revive it. I contemplated fixes, but ultimately, my attachment to the walnut and the work I'd put in won out. Since it's for my own home, I could afford to see it through. I'm grateful for the journey and the skills I gained. The wine racks, glass holders, and shelves were particularly enjoyable to craft, and I'm thrilled with how they turned out. I hope that I’ll have the opportunity to recreate this build for someone else one day, as I learned so much and know I could make it even better next time.

The Waterfall Nightstand. These are definitely one of my favorite designs to build. I absolutely love the way the grains flow over the edges with the round over. There are two spacious dovetailed drawers on soft close sliders with comfortable handles that complement the design nicely.

My favorite end table design that incorporates the handle into the drawer face. After that you can go crazy with the design and add a lot of texture to the piece. The grains flow across the piece so perfectly, drifting from wild to straight grain.
