For a long time, remodeling felt overwhelming to us too.

Years ago, after experiencing damage in our own home, we were sent to a showroom and told to start picking materials. Tile. Flooring. Vanity. Mirrors. Paint.

We remember thinking:

"How do people know what goes together?"
"What if I make the wrong choice?"
"What if I spend all this money and don't love it in the end?"

That experience stayed with us.

Soon after we started this company, we realized so many homeowners were carrying that same pressure: decision fatigue, uncertainty, and the feeling that they were expected to navigate a major investment largely on their own.

That’s a big part of why Box evolved into a design-build company.

Our client was downsizing into her retirement home after years of it being used as a rental property. We fully demoed the interior down to drywall and rebuilt the space with intention, maximizing every inch of this smaller kitchen while keeping the design warm, functional, and timeless.

The end result is a home that feels calm, welcoming, and completely hers.
