I've been doing gates for a long time! Since 1998. I've heard of uphill hinges, but this is the first time I saw them. They looked pretty cool and have worked well for this customer. We changed out an old telephone based intercom for a Cellgate W410 for this customer.

We just replaced the gate operators on this installation. We installed the gates 15 years ago. The aluminum gates from National Gateworks out of Florida have held up superbly. I don't know if they are still around making gates - anyone know?

We automated this gate using a HySecurity Slidemart HD operator. These gate operators are quality reliable units and have battery backup built in. They use the same post layout as Linear HSLG and VSGSLG operators.

Our Nice Rep (Hysecurity and Linear Brands) came in today and showed us a demo of the new Juno operator. It looks like a pretty nice machine with some cool features....Photoeye inside the operator cabinet, lockable clutch release handle, led indicator light on cover, and a light that illuminates the gate opening from the operator. We are looking forward to using this unit in the field.
