Well summer has been upon us and just like in the winter months have you checked your all your filters? Just changed our air conditioning filter and after only 4 months really needed it. Best way to remember when you replaced your filter is to write the date on it when put new one in. Or when you change your clocks twice a year have that be a reminder to not only change those fire alarm batteries but your furnace/ac filters as well. Keep your home safe this summer!

Winter is now upon us. Teased us in November. Returned in January which means only 59 more days till the 1st Day of Spring. Not bad...........
Just a reminder during these winter months to do a safety check to keep your home safe. Check all furnace filters, make sure all smoke alarms are working properly. Clean wood stove and fireplace flues regularly. Then you can go out and enjoy the snow!

Plenty of snow related activities close to home. Ever tried sliding down the Muskegon Luge Track located inside the Muskegon State Park at the Muskegon Winter Sports Complex (msports.org) ? Best kept secret in Muskegon County. I strongly suggest to try it at least once. A member of A-Team did and that was 20 years ago and she is still sliding to this day! Enjoy the ice skating trail through the woods or test your skill at cross country skiing. Not as easy as it looks.

One last post before the Thanksgiving Weekend.

As we all sit down this Thanksgiving Day with family and friends let's all come together as one, leave all differences aside, leave all store shelves full and stay with family and friends and just enjoy the time we have together. DON'T take life for granted. BE thankful for each and every moment. YOU never know when it could be our last.

As the winter is upon us please do safety checks around your home. Clean chimney flue to prevent chimney fire, if using space heater keep all things clear from heater and don't use extension cord, most of all make sure all your smoke alarms are working, they do save lives. Be safe this winter and and enjoy this Michigan winter.

Just think SPRING it will be here in 15 days and summer just 108 days away. Ahhhhhhhhhhh close your eyes and feel that hot summer sun, swimming in all our beautiful lakes or backyard pools to stay cool. How nice it will be. Hang in there Michigan!

Now that the heating season is upon us do heat your homes "carefully" especially if you have a wood burning stove. We have repaired homes due to wood burning stoves fires during the winter months. Although we love to gain new customers that write wonderful words about A-Team Construction Co. (see www.angieslist.com and our website www.ateamco.com ) we rather you stay safe and do proper wood stove flue cleaning to eliminate build up in your flue which causes many of fires. Stay safe and think safety at all times. But in a time of need our over 24 years of experience is here for you and your family.
