β Can a House Fail a Home Inspection?
This is one of the biggest misconceptions in real estate.
Many buyers believe a home inspection is a pass-or-fail test. In reality, home inspectors do not determine whether a home passes or fails. Our job is to provide a detailed evaluation of the property's visible condition so buyers can make informed decisions.
Sometimes inspections uncover roofing issues, electrical concerns, plumbing defects, foundation movement, or other items that deserve attention. That doesn't mean the house "failed"βit simply means the buyer now has valuable information before moving forward.
