Everyone here at RedHawk Electric would like to wish all the teachers, staff, students, and parents a happy first day of school! 📚✏️

Two of our three started school today, so we’re right there with all the other families wondering how summer went by THAT fast. 😅

Why think about ice and snow when it's 100* outside? Because the best time to prepare for a winter power outage is before winter arrives.

Before the month gets away from you, take 5 minutes to check a few things around your home:

✔️ Test your smoke detectors
✔️ Press the TEST button on your GFCI outlets (kitchen, bathrooms, garage, and outside)
✔️ Make sure extension cords aren’t being used as permanent wiring

We know back to school time is crazy and this is one thing that can slip through the cracks.
