Meet Brandon Del Frate, one of the sharpest minds on our pre-construction team and a key player in shaping the Central Texas skyline since 2018.

A graduate of Texas State's Concrete Industry Management program, Brandon thrives on the competitive nature of estimating and the puzzle of every new project. When he's not analyzing plans, he's chasing big catches, perfecting his jujitsu, playing chess and poker, or grilling BBQ for friends and family, including his 9-month-old daughter.

Big news: Brandon and his fiancée are tying the knot in April 2027 on a sun-drenched beach in the Dominican Republic. (Fun fact: she landed a massive Redfish on their first date — and he knew right then she was the one.)

Congrats, Brandon! We're lucky to have you on the team.

A morning we won't forget. On May 6, OSHA Austin Area Director Monica Camacho joined the BCS and White Construction teams at the Lab 4.0 jobsite to lead Fall Stand Down training as part of the 13th Annual National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls.

Falls are still the #1 cause of death in construction, and that's why this matters. Director Camacho walked the team through the three pillars: Plan, Provide, Train. Todd C. Smith added a timely reminder on Heat Injury Prevention with Texas summer just around the corner.

The team wrapped up with tacos and a shared commitment by signing the Bosch Tools Pledge to Work Safely. Every worker home safe, every day.

Safety first, always. On May 5, our BCS team hosted an OSHA Fall Stand Down event for more than 150 workers at the Dripping Springs High School #2 jobsite in Driftwood. The training covered Fall Protection, Ladder Safety, and Heat Injury Prevention, led by Armando Gonzalez and Todd C. Smith.

After the training, every worker enjoyed Rudy's BBQ (thank you, Parker Industrial!), got a t-shirt, and signed the Bosch Pledge to Work Safely banner. Big thanks to all our trade partners on this project for showing up and making safety a team effort.

👷 Meet Cesar Hernandez, one of the people who make BCS Concrete great!

Since joining the team in 2022 as an Assistant Project Manager, Cesar has grown into a key member of our crew. An East Texas native and Texas State grad, he brings a solutions-first mindset to every project.

"Everyone has problems. When you can provide solutions and work together, you build lasting trust."

When he's not on the job, you'll find him fishing, smoking brisket, or spending time with his growing family. Congrats to Cesar and his fiancée on baby #2 on the way! 🎉

What does safety really look like on a jobsite?

At BCS, it’s not just hard hats and checklists. It’s people looking out for each other. It’s someone speaking up when something feels off. It’s a crew that knows they all play a role in getting everyone home safely.

From day one, every worker is empowered to stop unsafe work. And through hands-on training and real conversations about jobsite risks, that responsibility becomes second nature.

We’ve seen the impact of that culture, 30 months without an OSHA recordable incident, but what matters most is what that number represents: people protected, families supported, and a team that truly has each other’s backs.

That’s what safety means to us.

BCS is more than concrete, and here's why that matters for our clients. 💪

We don't just pour. We bring an entire team of specialized crews to every project:

✔️ 25-person in-house rebar division
✔️ Service crews for pour backs, infills & specialty work
✔️ In-house finishing crews for quality you can see
✔️ Our own saw cut crew for control joints and small demo
✔️ Scope gap coordination with erectors, masons, metal fabricators & more
✔️ A safety program built on OSHA 10 training from day one

When a schedule is at risk, BCS finds the solution. That's the BCS difference. 🏗️

Meet the future of BCS. 👷‍♂️

Our Emerging Leaders Program is in full swing, and this month's session was one for the books. PM Cesar Hernandez and Director of Field Operations Leonel Perez led the cohort through a hands-on Plan Reading workshop, teaching participants how to navigate structural plans like seasoned pros.

From reading symbols and notes to finding sections, cutting details, and using schedule tables, these emerging leaders are getting the real-world training that makes the difference on the job site.

April brings advanced plan reading, and the class wraps up in May with exams and panel interviews. We're so proud of this group. 💪
