Not every roof gets built the same way, and that's by design.

Depending on what a property needs, we take extra steps during installation to give it the best shot at standing up to Oklahoma weather. It's not something every job calls for, but when it makes sense, we make sure it's done right.

If you're not sure what your roof needs, that's exactly what a free inspection is for.

If you own rental properties in central Oklahoma, you know the challenge of scheduling home service businesses around your tenants' schedules.

Any time George needs a roof done on one of his properties in the OKC area, he calls us. What keeps him coming back isn't just the work itself, it's how we handle scheduling. He always knew exactly when our crew would arrive, when materials were being delivered, and when to expect us on site. No waiting around, no guessing.

For anyone managing rental property, that kind of reliability matters just as much as the roof itself.

One of the questions we get asked more than almost any other is whether our free inspections are actually free.

They are. Completely free, no strings attached, no obligation to do anything after we're finished.

We'll get up on your roof and give you an honest assessment of exactly what we find, whether that's a roof in great shape, one that needs a repair, or one that needs a full replacement. We tell you the truth either way, because most homeowners have no idea what kind of shape their roof is actually in until someone who knows what to look for gets up there.

That's what over 30 years in central Oklahoma has taught us. A real inspection isn't a sales pitch, it's information you deserve to have.

Give us a call or visit our website to schedule yours.

Back to school season means new schedules, new routines, and a long list of things to get ready before the year picks up speed.

The roof over your head usually isn't on that list, but late summer into fall is actually one of the better times to have it looked at. Summer heat and storms put real stress on shingles, and catching small issues now means avoiding a bigger, more expensive repair once winter weather moves in.

While you're getting everything else in order for the season, it's worth adding one more thing to the list: a quick, honest look at your roof.

Earl has spent his career in the roofing industry, and when homeowners come to him with questions, he sends them straight to Robbins Roofing.

His reasoning comes down to one thing. Larry Robbins started roofing at 17 and has been hands on in every part of the business ever since. In an industry where a lot of companies today are run by people with a sales background chasing an easy opportunity to make good money, Earl sees Robbins Roofing differently. He's watched the quality of the workmanship, the personal way Larry and his family treat customers, and the follow up after every job for years, and none of it has ever been about the money for Robbins Roofing. It's about doing right by the people they work for.

That's the kind of reputation that gets built one roof at a time, not the kind you can manufacture with advertising.

Two questions. Do you know who your insurance company is? And do you know what type of policy you have?

These are the first two questions we ask when we sit down with homeowners — and more often than not, people don't know the answer to either one. If you don't know your insurer, you almost certainly don't know if you're on an actual cash value (ACV) policy or a replacement cost value policy — and that distinction alone can be the difference between a fully covered roof and a much bigger bill.

The fix is simple: sit down with your agent once a year. Ask about your deductible, your code ordinance coverage, and when your policy expires. Know it before the storm — not after.

Triple digit heat does not just wear you out. It wears out your roof too.

Shingles expand and contract every single day this time of year, and weeks of sustained heat like we have had lately puts real stress on the materials up there. Attic temperatures can climb well past what the rest of your house feels, which speeds up wear on the deck and shortens the life of your shingles over time.

Most people do not think about their roof during a heat wave. They think about their AC bill.

But if your roof is already a little worn, this kind of stretch is exactly when small issues start to show themselves. Curling edges. Cracked seals. Spots that were fine in the spring and are not fine now.

Thirty plus years in this Oklahoma heat has taught us what to look for.

Before hiring a roofing contractor, it’s wise to make sure they have are active and in good standing with the state of OK

🚨🚨ORCA PSA🚨🚨

In an ongoing effort to educate the roofing industry and to ensure that our roofing contractors remain in compliance with state law and Construction Industries Board rules, please review some of the basic information we've put together below, which covers the Oklahoma Commercial Roofing Endorsement and reach out to ORCA Executive Director, Avery Smith with any questions. Cell: 405-436-0547 | Email: [email protected]

Part of our mission at the Oklahoma Roofing Contractors Association - ORCA is to support your efforts to become a qualified, lawful, and compliant commercial roofing contractor and to help you avoid potential pitfalls and even fines. As we work to stay ahead of the changes, some of which were implemented on July 1, 2026, with more changes forthcoming that will go into effect January 1, 2027, we want to serve as a resource along the way.

From the new and more robust Continuing Education requirements (for both Commercial & Residential Roofing Endorsements) that ORCA helped to shape and implement, along with all the new requirements of the Residential Roofing Endorsement - HB 1628 (which ORCA also introduced and worked to successfully pass during the 2025 Oklahoma Legislative Session), it is imperative to stay up-to-date and informed. This isn't about making it more difficult to be a roofer, this is about elevating our industry, driving out the "riff-raff" that you as a legitimate contractor (as well as unsuspecting policyholders) have to deal with and unfairly compete against.

Thank you to our ORCA members who are among the most passionate, experienced, knowledgeable, reliable, and trustworthy roofing contractors you'll find in the state of Oklahoma! We appreciate your support! If your company is not a member of ORCA, let's talk more about that and how we can help each other to be more successful.

The more you know! 🤔💭
