A Splash of Class just got nominated in TWO categories for the 2027 Myrtle Beach Herald Readers' Choice Awards: Best Painting Company and Best Interior Designer.

Honestly, this one hits different. When Justine and I started this company we didn't want to just paint houses. We wanted people to walk into their home and love it again. Getting recognized for the painting and the design side means a lot, because that's exactly what we've been grinding to build.

❤️ MYRTLE BEACH, YOU MADE THIS ONE INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT! ❤️

When Justine and I decided to give away two tickets to The Grand Strand Chef’s Table, we thought it would be a fun way to give someone in our community a special night out.

What we didn’t expect was the overwhelming number of heartfelt nominations and incredible stories.

We read about hardworking parents, couples who have overcome unimaginable challenges, people battling difficult circumstances, and individuals who spend their lives putting everyone else first.

Some of these stories genuinely brought tears to our eyes.

After reading every nomination and giving it a lot of thought, we’ve officially selected our winning couple! 🎉🥂

Out of respect for their wishes, we’re keeping their identities private. But we couldn’t be happier to give them an opportunity to enjoy a beautiful evening together.

BUT WAIT… WE’RE NOT DONE! 💚

There were simply too many deserving people for us to walk away after choosing just one couple.

So Justine and I have decided to do something a little extra.

🎁 WE’RE SURPRISING THREE MORE NOMINEES!

One Pinterest picture. An entire design brought to life. 🤎✨

Our client fell in love with a design she found on Pinterest, but bringing that inspiration into her own home took more than simply recreating a picture.

We took that vision and made it hers, incorporating natural wood tones, custom details, and replacing the trim and baseboards throughout the main living area to create a beautifully cohesive finish.

Because great design isn’t about copying a picture. It’s about taking what inspires you and making it feel like it was always meant for your home.
