Mahre Made Located in Naches, WA, we offer a variety of services from carpentry and metal fabrication, to general handyman work.

Born in Yakima and raised in Gleed/Naches, owner Andy Mahre has gained a variety of skills and knowledge over the years covering many aspects of construction and handyman work. After 7 years of running Mahre Construction doing primarily new residential remodels/construction, a downsize and direction change has shifted focus to smaller one off projects and handyman work. When taking on projects, Mahre Made aims for quality over quantity.

Rear door replacement at a White Pass Village Inn condo.

The original door was so bowed that it only closed in the middle, leaving signicant airflow at the top and bottom.

The door frame itself was the vertical structure that the stiffened the wall to window junction. No full height studs between the door and window.

We were able to pin the door as far to the right as possible which allowed enough space to add a single full height stud next to the window. This added some rigidity to the equation.

We don’t just complete the task at hand and move on. We fix a problem you didn’t know you had, and then continue onto the task at hand.

This bathroom received a new shower and flooring over new subfloor, after a cracked shower base caused water damage issues.

It was interesting to find a lack of backing block around the old shower nailing fl**ge. No horizontal blocks or vertical nailers on any of the fl**ge. The old shower was held in place with a total of three drywall screws.

It’s hard to say if it was a lack of knowledge, or just a shortcut to save some money. Either way, this shower is fully backed and installed with proper stainless truss head screws.
