Vlog type of day today

We checked up on the maintenance crew to see how they were doing and to answer any questions they might have

After that we went to one of our landscape crews that is working on a project for an Avimor model home that is going to be low maintenance landscape as it is just a model home

Week 5 of the parade home build is HERE and things are getting real 🔥🏡

We just finished the front yard retaining walls and they look INCREDIBLE. We also built out the steps that run right from the front door down along the walls.

Then we headed to the backyard. We started digging out the sunken fireplace and seating area as well as the gas line for it.

Week 4 update on the Parade Home — and I won’t lie, it’s been a tough few weeks.

🌧️ The rain here in the Avimor area really slowed us down.

But we’re back at it. Today I’m walking you through Part 1 of 2 on our two-tier retaining wall for the front of the home. This wall is going to be a big part of the whole look.

Slow progress is still progress.

Week 3 of our Avimor parade home build and we are making serious progress in the backyard! 🙌

This week we got the pavers down on the back porch and I am so excited about how it is coming together.

We are using Sienna Edge pavers from Unilock in the color Alabaster and honestly they are really nice.

I added one thing to my sales process… the client said yes.

This yard was already finished and looked good. The homeowners weren’t trying to fix anything they were deciding whether to risk changing it.

They wanted to add:
• a patio
• a custom outdoor kitchen using their appliances
• a large privacy wall with built-in planters

And this is where most landscaping sales slow down. Not price. Not design. Indecision.

Because in their head they’re thinking:
“What if it doesn’t fit the yard?”
“What if the wall feels too big?”
“What if we regret it?”

Normally that turns into:
“Let us think about it.”

Instead, I used AI to generate visual concept images and attached them to the proposal email. Now they weren’t trying to interpret drawings or measurements.

They could actually see:
how the patio connected to the yard
how the kitchen fit their appliances
how the privacy wall felt in scale

And something important happened. The conversation moved from should we do it to when can you start.

To be clear — these aren’t construction plans and they aren’t the final design. Once the project is approved, we move into a full professional design where materials, layout, elevations, and details are finalized.

AI didn’t sell the project. It shortened the decision time.

People don’t buy landscaping because of specs —
they buy when they can picture themselves using the space.

The faster they can see it,
the faster they can say yes.

When a backyard becomes the place memories are made.

This video is the final chapter of a backyard we built in Middleton — and one that truly represents why we do this.

It started with a pool and a vision. From there, we worked side by side with the homeowners to design an outdoor space built for gathering, slowing down, and making memories.

A large paver patio that brings everything together.
A fire pit with built-in seating for long nights outside.
An outdoor kitchen for shared meals. Spaces to play, relax, and enjoy every season.

What makes this project special isn’t just how it looks —
it’s how it will be lived in.

That’s the Lusan way.
