🔥 Treasure Valley, it's going to be hot, Hot, HOT this weekend! 🔥
High temperatures can put extra stress on your home. Before heading out to enjoy the weekend, take a few minutes to:
💧 Check hoses and sprinkler lines for leaks.
⚡ Avoid overloading outlets with fans and portable AC units.
🌳 Keep dry vegetation away from your home.
Stay cool, stay hydrated, and have a safe weekend!
And if the unexpected happens...

Good mernin and happy Friday to my crispy little rotisserie chickens. 🥵☀️
Mother Nature looked at the thermostat and said, “Yeah, let’s make ’em marinate.”
It’s another toasty day across the region with valley highs roasting away in the upper 90s to mid 100s, while the mountains enjoy a much more civilized existence in the 70s and 80s. 😂
Most of us stay dry today, but the heat will be enough to pop a few isolated showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening, mainly over the higher terrain. A couple could wander into the valleys. If you hear thunder, don’t expect widespread rain. The biggest troublemakers will be gusty outflow winds and cloud to ground lightning, especially for anyone spending time outdoors or firefighters already dealing with elevated fire danger.
The heat isn’t going anywhere, either.
This weekend keeps the oven set to “extra crispy,” with many valley communities flirting with or topping 100 degrees. Next week stays plenty hot with widespread 90s and low 100s, lots of sunshine, and elevated fire danger sticking around.
I’m still watching for a gradual return of monsoon moisture toward the latter half of next week. If that pans out, we’ll have a better opportunity for scattered showers and thunderstorms, but we’re not there just yet. I’m letting the forecast drama marinate before getting too attached to it.
In the meantime, hydrate like it’s your full time job, wear sunscreen unless your goal is to resemble a rotisserie chicken from Costco, and remember that even one lonely thunderstorm can throw out lightning and some surprisingly feisty blowy gusts.
As always, I’ll keep my eyeballs on it so you don’t get surprised, mmkay?
Why don’t skeletons fight each other?
They don’t have the guts.
I’ll see myself out. 😂
K thanks bye.
