* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 9
inches possible.

* WHERE...In Pennsylvania, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Pike and
Southern Wayne counties. In New York, Sullivan county.

* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through early Monday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult due to low
visibilities and snow-covered roads.

A Winter Storm Watch means there is potential for significant
snow that may impact travel. Continue to monitor the latest

EST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations
of 1 to 3 inches and ice accumulations of up to one tenth of
an inch expected. The highest snow amounts will be in Luzerne
County.

* WHERE...In Pennsylvania, Bradford, Susquehanna, Wyoming,
Lackawanna, Luzerne, Pike and Wayne Counties. In New York,
Sullivan County.

* WHEN...From 10 AM Wednesday to 7 AM EST Thursday. Snow moves in
late morning to early afternoon. Snow will change to freezing
rain Wednesday evening then continue into the overnight before
changing to rain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The
hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.

Verizon Wireless service along with it’s subsidaries are down (straight talk, net 10, tracfone) will not have service. They cannot dial 911. Police Fire and EMS are asked to man all stations in the event a verizon customer has an emergency.

Iphone users can text back in forth from ios to ios.
