EV chargers have been keeping us busy lately. ⚡️

Another Tesla charger install completed yesterday.

The customer supplied the charger, and we handled the rest — ran a new dedicated circuit from the panel to the garage, mounted and hardwired the charger, made the final connections and tested everything before we left.

That’s 12 years of early mornings, late days, packed trucks, service calls, job sites and more “what the hell happened here?” moments than we can count. 😂

A lot has changed since Vishnefski Electrical started in 2014.

Grown the grew. Taken on bigger jobs. Added services. Learned some lessons the hard way. And built a name we’re proud to have on the side of our trucks.

First call of the day: a bathroom light that wouldn’t turn on. 💡

After troubleshooting the issue, we found that moisture in the bathroom had likely damaged the original fixture. Our technician replaced it with a new one and added silicone around the inside to help create a moisture barrier and better protect it from the humid environment.

It’s not always just about replacing what’s broken—it’s about taking the extra steps to help prevent the same problem from happening again. ⚡

The walls are still open, which means it’s time for us to get to work.

New wiring from the panel ✔️

Mini-split wiring ✔️

Next up: drywall and paint. Then we’ll return to install the devices, fixtures and mini-split and finish this one up.

🌳⚡ When a tree takes out your electrical service, waiting isn’t really an option.

A homeowner in Mountain Top, PA called our office after a fallen tree ripped the electrical service from the back of his home. We knew this was one we needed to get to quickly.

Our crew was dispatched and got right to work removing the damaged service, securing the meter base, installing new conduit and service wiring, and bringing the grounding and bonding up to code.

Damaged service repaired. Homeowner taken care of. Another job done right. ⚡

Getting another home in Hunlock Creek, PA ready for the next power outage. ⚡🏠

Yesterday our crew installed a 26kW standby generator on a gel-filled pad under the deck, along with a new 200A automatic transfer switch at the electrical service.

We also made the necessary panel changes, ran the generator wiring, buried the exterior conduit and installed the battery.

The electrical portion is ready to go! Once the gas connection is completed, we’ll return for startup and testing and make sure the homeowner knows exactly what to expect from their new system.

No extension cords. No dragging out a portable generator. Just backup power ready when you need it.
