These before and after photos are a great example of why it’s important to address deteriorating wiring before it becomes a bigger problem.

Our crew recently repaired damaged wiring in a customer’s basement that supplied power to their water heater and an outlet.

The existing wiring had deteriorated and needed some attention. Our technicians cut back the damaged wiring, installed new junction boxes, replaced the outlet, and installed a new water heater disconnect with new wiring to the unit. Everything was properly mounted, secured, and tested for correct voltage.

🔧 Take a look at the before and after! Not only is the finished installation cleaner and more organized, but more importantly, the damaged wiring has been addressed.

Electrical repairs aren’t always about adding something new. Sometimes, it’s about making sure what’s already there is safe, reliable, and working as it should.

🚧 SHEETZ REMODEL | WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP, PA

Another solid week of progress for our crew at the Sheetz remodel as the underground portion comes to an end.

A lot of time, labor, and materials go into this phase of a commercial project. Miles of planning, plenty of conduit, and a lot of hard work — all for something that will eventually be buried and never seen again.

With underground work nearly behind us, next up is electrical rough-in.

⚡ Annual Generator Maintenance — It's More Than Just an Oil Change!

Take a look at these before and afters from a recent generator service! 👀

Your standby generator works hard when you need it, but the rest of the year it's sitting outside, exposed to everything Pennsylvania weather has to offer. Dirt, leaves, and debris can build up over time, making regular maintenance an important part of keeping your generator in good working condition.

When our VEI technicians perform Annual Generator Maintenance, we make sure the little things aren't overlooked.

✔️ Change the oil and oil filter

✔️ Replace spark plugs and air filter

✔️ Wipe down the exterior and make sure intake and exhaust areas are clear of debris

✔️ Reset the annual maintenance reminder on the control board

✔️ Document the service with the technician's name and date

A standby generator is an investment in your home, and like any other piece of equipment, it needs routine care. Regular maintenance helps prevent avoidable problems and keeps your generator ready for the next outage.

⚡ PROJECT UPDATE | Sheetz – Wilkes-Barre Township, PA

Progress continues on our latest commercial project!

Our crews have been busy with gas piping and strip lines as we work through the underground phase of the Sheetz remodel. We're looking to have this portion of the project wrapped up over the next few days!

There's a lot of work that goes into a commercial remodel before things really start taking shape, and we're just getting started!

Day one on the Sheetz remodel in Wilkes-Barre Twp! ⚡

This is just one of many deliveries headed to the site. Today our crew got the first orders and materials squared away and moved the job trailer onto the site, so we’re set up and ready to get to work.

Rigid and PVC conduit is staged and waiting for its turn. We’ll be sharing progress as this project comes together. Stay tuned!

Another day, another service upgrade — you know these are a favorite around here. ⚡

This one was a full 100 amp service replacement in Hanover Township, PA from the point of attachment in.

Out with the old and in with a new meter setup, exterior disconnect, Square D Homeline panel and breakers, whole-house surge protection, new wiring, and updated grounding and bonding.

Everything brought up to current code, permitted, inspected, and coordinated with the utility from start to finish.

Nothing flashy — just a clean, solid service upgrade and another electrical system ready to do its job for years to come. 👌⚡

Yesterday, we kicked off our next commercial project — the Sheetz remodel in Wilkes-Barre Township. ⚡

First up was getting the temporary service installed and ready to keep things moving while the remodel gets underway.

We’ll be working on this one over the next few months, so you’ll definitely be seeing more from this job as it progresses.

For now, temporary power is in and we’re off and running. 👊⚡

A recent commercial job took our crew to Lowe’s on Dziak Drive in Nanticoke, where we wired 21 canopy lights throughout the property.

Conduit run. Wire pulled. Power supplied from the guard shack panel. Another one checked off the list. ✔️

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Nanticoke, PA

What you’ll be doing:
• Answering/directing customer calls and scheduling service appointments
• Scheduling and dispatching technicians
• Communicating updates with Office Manager, Service Manager, customers and technicians
• Keeping the daily service schedule organized
• Coordinating return trips and following up on open jobs
• Following up on estimates and scheduling
• Keeping work orders and our CRM system up to date
• Helping solve scheduling issues and keeping jobs moving

We’re looking for someone who is:
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Dependable and able to follow through
• Friendly, professional, and comfortable on the phone
• Able to handle multiple priorities
• Comfortable with computers and learning new software
• A problem-solver who takes initiative
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office suite and Google Business

Electrical experience is a plus, but it is not required. Experience in dispatching, scheduling, or customer service is preferred. Organization, communication, dependability, and follow-through are what matter most to us.
