This album will be a random group of custom cabinetry projects designed and fabricated in our Napa shop.

We provide custom design and fabrication services. Our projects will require a team of professional builders, trim carpenters, and painting contractors that can properly install, and finish our products as required on site.

Our cabinetry standards are face frame construction, with full overlay door and drawer fronts, which include Blum soft close hardware.

Cabinet cases are pre-finished 3/4” maple plywood throughout, utilizing rabbet and dadoed joinery, cut from our in house CNC equipment.

Drawers are typically 9 ply pre-finished baltic birch with 1/2” sides and 3/8” bottoms, however many hardwood upgrades are available..

This album is for a 1957 Chris Craft Sportsman, that belongs to a past customer from my boatyard days in the Delta.

It’s been in and out of our storage, and started and stopped more times than I can remember over the last 10 years.

The still to do list includes final clear coats, cut and buffing, gold leaf name and CF numbers along with reinstalling the entire hardware package that we have had rechromed.

Looking forward to the restart of this project..

This album is dedicated to a bucket list project of mine, that will be my around town shop truck.

It’s a 1941 1/2 ton Chevrolet Pickup that my grandfather bought when it was about 6 years old, and was given to me by him about 20 years ago. He taught
me to drive this three speed truck well before I was old enough to do so legally.

After several starts and stops to this resto-mod project over the years, it’s finally within the top 3 things to do, on my personal to do list this year….

This is an album for a Chris Craft Holiday I’ve done a lot of work on over the last 10 years.

It started with a custom swim platform, and last year I peeled all the top side planks off for frame repairs and then did a polished acrylic finish on it…

This album is about some of the work that happens behind the scenes around the shop, that normally doesn’t get seen, doesnt pay, but someone has to do, to keep moving forward….

I just signed a new lease for the next 5 years here in Napa, doubling the current shop size. My plan is to make it the first if four I sign, before I call the scap man to empty it😂

If you’ve been to the shop, I’m staying in the same building, but just moving down to the end, in units #18 and #20. This is a great location in town.

The woodshop will be spread out a bit from its current configuration and give me more free open space for assemblies, more lumber storage, and the ability’s to bring in some help as needed without tripping over each other.

The loft will have a similar space as the existing shop did for the old school drafting table, and a large storage area.

Below the loft, I’ll have a small finishing clean finishing room for small projects.

The left side if the shop will be most of the old school woodworking equipment, down the center will be the CNC machines, and the right side will have my metal working equipment, car lift and plenty of room for the trailered boat projects…

October 1st is the day the move will begin, and this should put us in good shape for a great start to the 2026 year!

This album is for a random selection of projects I’ve done over the years…

This first photo is a Gazebo I designed and built with a bit of Japanese inspired design.

All the rafters and hips had a radius top cut. I laid it out on Autocad, prefabricated it the shop, dismantled it for delivery to the job site, and then permanently reassembled it as shown.
Still looking pretty good after about 20 years….at least.

This album will show the fabrication steps involved in the construction of a wooden boat rotisserie jig that I’ve had on the design board for too long, and is now finally underway in the shop.

The rings are cut from multiple layers of 3/4 plywood, and then I’ll laminate them into a tongue and groove profile to create quarter sections of the ring. This will allow it to be knocked down for storage, and threaded around the boat and stands for assembly.

This is one of those projects that has been given a lot of thought over a long period of time, with the intent to assemble it, and then roll the boat single handed within it.

Most likely it will be modified along the way, as I see it start to take shape

This album is for three additions that I’m designing and building in Napa California during 2025. My General Contracting and Residential Design days are professionally behind me, but I came out of contracting retirement, for this build for some personal reasons😂…

It’s a late 1960’s rancher about 1600 sf that we’ll be adding 800sf to, divided into three separate additions.

The front elevation shown in my initial scribble sketch, it will push out two existing rooms and change the roof lines from the original design. One is a home office and the other is a guest bedroom which will be enlarged.

The second addition will be in the back and will be an addition to the master bath and closet areas. It will included a free standing siaking tub and a large walk-in closet and dressing area.

The third area of construction will also be in the backside of the home, and will be a guest bedroom and full bathroom.

This will be a fun one with a bit of everything in it for me to do….
Designing, General Contracting, cabinets, interior & exterior trim and the paint work… that’s enough 😂
