Family and friends!

Here are a few generator safety tips for after the storm:

- NEVER uses a generator inside the home

- Keep generators at least 20 feet away from the home

- NEVER back feed your generator from the dryer outlet. (This is dangerous even if you think you know what to do)

- Do not try to power A/C or other non essential devices/appliances.

If using a generator outlet:

- When you’re ready to use your generator, switch off main breaker FIRST followed by the other breakers.

- Switch on breaker labeled “generator”
