Lighting does more than help you see. It completely changes how a space feels, functions, and even how large it appears. 🟣

The right lighting can make a kitchen feel warm and inviting, a bathroom feel like a luxury spa, and a living room feel comfortable and relaxing. That’s why lighting design should be considered just as carefully as flooring, cabinetry, and paint colors during a remodel.

In kitchens, layered lighting is key. Pendant lights over an island create a focal point while under-cabinet lighting improves visibility for cooking and food preparation. In bathrooms, bright, even lighting around mirrors helps eliminate shadows and provides better visibility for daily routines. Day 3 of this LVP flooring project is underway 🟣

The new flooring is going down, furniture is being moved, and we’re making our way through the entire space. Before any new flooring goes into the kitchen, we’re removing the existing tile and properly leveling the floor to create a smooth, even surface.

Taking the time to prepare the subfloor correctly is one of the most important steps in any flooring installation. A properly leveled floor helps prevent lifting, uneven spots, and long-term issues with your new floors.

Part 2 of this condo remodel is coming together beautifully. The demo is complete and the new tile installation throughout the space is already changing the entire look and feel of the condo.

Next up is grout, plumbing, cabinets, and paint as we continue bringing this project to life step by step. Stay tuned for Part 3.
