There’s no better measure of a building experience than hearing directly from the people who lived through it.

This Old Naples project was a full transformation, from a 1948 cottage to a new two-story custom home and pool. For a project completed long distance, communication, organization, and follow-through were especially important from start to finish.

We’re grateful for the trust our clients place in us and even more grateful when they take the time to share their experience.

Thank you for trusting Calusa Construction with your home.

A well-run job site is about more than keeping things moving.

Clear communication, trade coordination, consistent site oversight, quality control, and quick problem solving all play a role in keeping a project on track.

At Calusa, experienced project management means knowing what needs to happen, who needs to be involved, and how to respond when plans change. It’s the work behind the scenes that keeps a complex build organized from start to finish.

A home should have room for the things you love to do.

From sophisticated game rooms and private home theaters to comfortable indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, entertainment areas can be designed around the way each homeowner lives.

And for the collector? A custom garage can be more than a place to park. It can be a dedicated space to display, protect, and enjoy a prized car collection.

At Calusa, we build spaces that go beyond the everyday and give you more ways to enjoy your home.

Construction rarely goes exactly according to plan.

Site conditions change. Materials get delayed. Details need to be reworked. Trades have to adjust. The difference is having an experienced team that knows how to respond without losing sight of the bigger picture.

At Calusa, project management means staying ahead of the unexpected, keeping the work moving, and making informed decisions throughout the build.

Some of the most important parts of a home are the things you never see.

Behind the finished walls are structural systems, mechanical equipment, electrical, plumbing, insulation, ventilation, and more. Every one of these components has to be properly planned, coordinated, and installed for a home to perform the way it should.

The finished product may be what gets noticed, but what happens behind the walls matters just as much.

A custom project doesn’t come together overnight. There are phases that may not look impressive on their own, changes that have to be worked through, and plenty happening behind the scenes before the finished spaces take shape.

From the first stages of construction to the final details, every part of the process has a purpose.

The finished home is worth the wait.
