🔧 Another group of apprentices is officially underway!

We recently welcomed 9 new apprentices into our On-the-Job Training (OJT) Program, got them equipped with the tools they need 🦺🛠️, and sent them out to their job sites to begin the next chapter of their careers.

🤖📐 Precision starts long before the first wall is framed.

On this luxury residential project, our robotic layout technology is helping ensure every detail is in the right place before construction moves forward.

Unlike a traditional layout, robotic layout allows us to accurately transfer the entire blueprint to the slab, capturing intricate architectural details that would otherwise be difficult to visualize. Even more importantly, it creates an opportunity for collaboration. Mechanical, electrical, cabinetry, and other trades can verify their layouts against the same coordinated plan before installation begins, helping identify potential conflicts early and reducing costly rework later.

Technology doesn’t replace craftsmanship, it enhances it. By combining skilled field professionals with advanced layout technology, we’re able to deliver greater accuracy, better coordination, and a smoother construction process for our clients and project partners.

🎉🔨 Just a few days after welcoming 13 new apprentices into our OJT/Apprenticeship Program, we’re excited to share that 3 more candidates from the same Junior Achievement hiring event have joined the Ford Drywall & Stucco team, bringing the total to 16 new apprentices! 👏

This is exactly why we continue investing in workforce development. The skilled trades offer incredible career opportunities, and we’re committed to providing the training, mentorship, and hands-on experience that help the next generation build successful futures.

🏫✨ Another great project nearing the finish line!

We’re wrapping up our work at Rye Ranch Elementary School, and it’s exciting to see another educational facility coming together for the community. From framing and drywall to exterior stucco, projects like this take teamwork, planning, and a commitment to quality every step of the way.

Schools are more than just buildings, they’re places where future generations will learn, grow, and build lifelong memories. We’re grateful for the opportunity to help create a space that will serve students, teachers, and families for years to come.

A sincere thank you to Skanska for the opportunity to be part of this project and for their partnership throughout construction. We also want to recognize our incredible field crews, project partners, and everyone whose hard work and dedication helped bring this project to completion. 👏🔨

Before stucco is applied, our team uses LiDAR technology to identify any high or low areas that require remediation. After the finish is complete, we scan the surface again to verify the flatness and quality of the installation, providing measurable data instead of relying on visual inspections alone.

This technology allows us to:
