Financial Strength: Divco moved to SW Florida from Indiana in the late 1970’s. Never during any of these periods has Divco not paid its vendors or subs on time. During this most recent and most severe recession, Divco was never late on any of its payments, nor did any of its’ banks call on any mortgages. American Express has never reduced our available credit and we were/are current with every payment. Warranty Program. Divco has been an exemplary builder within the 2-10 insurance based warranty program for many years. To qualify for this warranty program, Divco must demonstrate its financial stability, quality of construction, and dedication to warranty performance to The HomeBuyers Warranty Corp., who backs the warranty program. 2-10 HBW guarantees our performance on the 1 & 2 year normal warranty coverage plus a 10 year structural warranty policy which is transferable. A lot of builders cannot meet the criteria for inclusion in this warranty program, therefore, can not offer it, Divco includes it with all of its’ Gold level homes. Additionally, Divco is the recipient of the coveted Diamond Builder Award and the Elite Builder Award for our warranty performance. There are no other builders in the State of Florida that have this collective 2-10 HBW distinction. Energy Efficiency: Divco understands you expect your home to be energy efficient. Our standard features include: Air-conditioning equipment with a 16 SEER rating, 3/4” thick foam insulation on the exterior block walls, R-11 and R-19 batt insulation on our exterior frame walls, R-30 ceiling insulation over all living areas, (we also insulate the floors of our two story units), tinted mitered glass and sliding glass doors, and Low E insulated glass windows.
