D. Garrett Construction, Inc. D. Garrett Construction, Inc., is a premiere South Florida builder and general contractor, with offices in Naples and Ocean Reef, Key Largo.

We are accustomed to working with strict budgets and deadlines. We take both of these very serious, and do whatever it takes to get the job done. Our customer service / warranty department is on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We service what we build. Our management style is flexible and "hands on". We are a medium size construction firm, closely managed by its owner and officers. All pro

jects are priced by our estimating team. These individuals will work with the owners until all pricing is agreed upon and a contract is executed. All projects can be "Value Engineered". We have been successful in reducing costs significantly. After this stage the project is then turned over to the Project Manager who is responsible for the office to field management. This includes all communication of all correspondence to the Project Superintendent, as received by the architect, owner and subcontractors. The project manager will be the contact for the owner until the project is completed. We do not change the Project Superintendent or Project Manager in the middle of the job. The same team that started the project, will remain on the project until it's final completion and acceptance by all parties. The project then moves into the "Close-Out" stage which consists of multiple facets of the project, including completion of the punch list work, warranty documents, as-built drawings, inspections, training and systems turn-over, final release of lien affidavits, etc...

A Celebration of Life for Al DeMartino will be held on Wednesday, June 15th, from 4:30-6:30pm at Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home (28300 S. Tamiami Trail)
4:30 – Visitation with Family and Friends
5:00-6:30 – Sharing Memories

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to honor Al at:

It is with very heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Al DeMartino. Al was a beloved member of the D. Garrett Construction family for more than 37 years. His dedication to our company, our clients, and our projects was unwavering. Al’s knowledge of construction, his problem-solving skills and can-do spirit, were the foundation of our Warranty and Service Department. His absence will be felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His endless hope and passion for life serve as an inspiration. His memory is indeed a blessing.
