Shining Stone Ranch

Shining Stone Ranch Rooted in Jesus, we’re building a place of peace, purpose, and provision. Follow our journey of developing the ranch from bare hands to dream land.

A faith-based homestead where healing begins with the little things like fresh baked goods, garden harvests, handmade gifts, and heartfelt books like Treading the Trenches. Previously Leaning Pine Farmstead, we were called to move to just under 16 acres in Napoleonville, LA - just 5 minutes away from the original farm! While there is a leaning pine on the property, we first saw these glowing stone

s in the driveway. While there are many verses about rocks, this reminded us of Psalms 119:105, "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path". Hence the name, Shining Rock, which we hope that you will follow us as we grow, learn, and shine. Psalm 40:2

Originally Of All Kinds, we started as a birthday and wedding stationary designer and created sweet treats for family and friends. It became a joy and blessing over the years to begin to share the things we enjoy making so that others can enjoy as well. Bethany is a retired Paramedic and currently a M.A. Clinical Mental Health Counseling psychology student. Designing stationary and making sweet treats comes from her hands. Richard is a State Police Motorman who also enjoys working with wood and the garden. As a family, we work together on projects and love sharing what we do to inspire and encourage others.

Until I’m able to transition the house into my office, the Airbnb is the home featured in the book. I’ve created an immersive experience with subtle mystery elements placed throughout the space for anyone who wants to step into the story for a weekend or more.
Thank you to everyone!

King cakes have been around longer than Mardi Gras, so how did the colorful cakes become a Fat Tuesday staple? Yahoo Life asked New Orleans foodies to explain.
