IBEW Local Union 1105 Labor Union for East Central and Southeastern Ohio We are an Inside Local, specializing in commercial and industrial electrical work.

IBEW Local 1105 is the Newark, Ohio branch of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, representing electricians in Licking, Muskingum, Guernsey, Coshocton, and Perry counties, and parts of Knox and Tuscarawas counties.

The Electrical Workers Minority Caucus (EWMC) was born in the 1970s from a simple, powerful necessity: ensuring every voice in our Brotherhood was heard. What began as a vision by our Founding Members became a movement that changed the IBEW forever.

Under the legendary 21-year presidency of Robbie Sparks, the EWMC grew into a powerhouse of mentorship and advocacy. Today, we stand on the shoulders of these pioneers to wire a more inclusive future for all.
