One of the most striking waterfalls in New Hampshire, Ripley Falls drops 100 feet down a smooth granite wall at an incredible 60-degree angle. The water glides over the rock in gleaming ribbons before crashing into the pool below, creating one of the most photogenic sights in Crawford Notch State Park. The 1.2-mile round-trip Ripley Falls Trail climbs about 300 feet through peaceful forest, crossing old railroad tracks and mossy boulders before the roar of the falls fills the air. It’s a short, rewarding trek to one of the White Mountains’ most unforgettable waterfalls...a spot that captures the raw beauty of New Hampshire in every drop.
