URGENT APPEAL: Help Save Sweet Maisie's Life! 🐾
Today, we faced an emergency that required swift action to rescue a precious life. Meet Maisie, a 7-year-old Frenchton, who, thanks to your ongoing support, has been given a second chance at life through SNORT.

Maisie's journey with us began when her owner, desperate and on the verge of euthanasia at an emergency hospital, reached out to us as a last resort. Having adopted Maisie just two weeks ago from what seemed to be a backyard breeder, her owner had already spent $5,000 on medical bills. Maisie was scheduled for surgery to address pyometra, but the procedure was halted as she was diagnosed with diabetes, requiring insulin regulation before any further steps.

Maisie is currently stable but needs your help for her continued care. She'll remain in the hospital until her insulin levels are regulated, followed by spaying and pyometra surgery. Fortunately, we have a foster well versed in diabetic care waiting to help her once she's released.

I love building stairs.

I planned on replacing the treads and risers. The existing stairs ended up being prefabricated with no stringers. So I ripped them out and started from scratch. New stringers, oak treads, risers, skirts, scotia, and custom fascia to receive the new LVP flooring and have a solid surface to attach the rail system. This was a fun one.
